We established the Jinnah Sindh Medical Alumni Association (JSMAA) early in 2023 to address the lack of an active platform for graduates of Jinnah Sindh Medical University, formerly Sindh Medical College. Recognizing this void, we launched JSMAA to foster social connections, collaborations, and empower juniors through teaching, career guidance, and advice.
Our mission is to organize academic activities, professional development support, mentorship and annual social events across the UK and around the world, wherever SMCians are working and contributing their services.
The founding members of JSMAA are Dr. Rizwan Riyaz, Dr. Salman Khan, Dr. Shabina Waheed, Dr. Erum Salman, Dr. Uzair Malik, Dr. M. Shafi and Dr. Waheed Murad Shaikh, whose collective vision and efforts have made this platform a reality.
